AEGEE-Passau warmly welcomes all exchange students to our lovely city of Passau. AEGEE-Passau is a local antenna of AEGEE-Europe (Association des États Généraux des Étudiants de l’Europe) the biggest European Students Organisation with 13.000 members in 240 cities all over Europe. We are a non-profit association and we are not dependent on a certain political or religious view. Moreover we connect students from different cultures and different faculties to foster European Integration and to encourage cultural exchange. There are also some offers during the semester for our foreign students, such as trips to Munich, Nuremberg or Linz. Our Erasmus-Responsible, Jonathan Ostertag, coordinates and organizes all activities and he will be happy to answer all your questions. Furthermore, there is an Erasmus-group on Facebook from AEGEE. Join it and stay informed about all our events! 🙂
The Orientation Weeks in Passau
The main goal of the orientation weeks is to help our new exchange students settle in and find their way around the university and the city of Passau. This is why we offer a variety of tours, like for example a guided campus tour as well as a city tour, where new students get the possibility to get to know Passau and its sights. Moreover we organise a broad range of events in order to get to know each other better. Those events go from movie nights or different intercultural events , parties and trips. Of course we will also show you all of the pubs and bars worth seeing during our pub crawl!
Would you like to help making our newbies’ start as easy and fun as possible? Just contact Moritz (firstname.lastname@example.org), our Erasmus Responsible, who takes care of the organization of the welcome weeks.
