I have been a member of AEGEE for more than 2 years now, and I still get amazed by the energy and the enthusiasm you can experience at every event. My own journey started at ES1 Riga in 2009, together with many people that today I count as my friends, and I’m still extremely thankful for this one week that changed my perspective on so many things. Since then, I have been pretty active on the local level as well as on the European level, I have learned and developed in so many ways, I got to know people from different countries that today are among my best friends, and I discovered that young people all over Europe share the same idealism I have. Since Riga, I have been dreaming of bringing a European School to Passau, for our members to experience the AEGEE-spirit and to give 25 AEGEE-newbies the same opportunity I had (or to push them into AEGEE-hell, how Marino, one of my trainers at ES1 put it ).

Hello dear ES1-enthusiasts,

My name is Anja and I am very excited to meet you here in our beloved city of Passau in December. I’ve been an AEGEE member since June 2009 and after the organization of the fabulous Golden Twenties anniversary of AEGEE-Passau I decided to tackle a new challenge and become one of the organizers of the ES1 Passau 2011. We are doing our very best to turn this week into a really special and unforgettable one for all of you!!!
