WELCOME TO PASSAU

Dear participants,

Welcome to the city of the three rivers! As if the motto was made for it, the ES1 will be hosted in a city where you have a lot of water where you can D.I.V.E. into inspiration, or at least into some very refreshing water 

AEGEE Passau has been in this wonderful city for more than twenty years now and lots of participants have spent awesome days here and had unforgettable experiences during lots of workshops, trainings, conferences, summer universities and other events that were hosted in Passau in the past years.

Ask whoever you want to and he or she will confirm that the Passau events are pretty well-organized and that the local is a quite active and motivated one. We are not perfect but we are willing to do our very best and we are decided to carry on our good reputation as wonderful hosts 

You are going to spend most of you ES1- time at the University of Passau. Passau is quite a new University and we have officially been elected the most beautiful Campus in Germany! Your training will take place in the most modern building we have, a very nice and light building which we all love and you will eat in the oldest part of the university which is an old monastery with a lot of tradition.

Like the many many bikers who pass Passau each year during their biking holidays along the Danube, you will sleep in a Bed&Bike which is close to the trainstation and close to the university (actually one of the many advantages that Passau has is the fact that almost anything is reachable within 20 minutes by foot )

We all learned to love this city – and we hope that you will get to love it, too during your stay here.
